County Fair PTX Concert
I didn't have a clue who Black Kray was when a friend asked me to go see them, but I said yes. When I went online to buy tickets, I listened to a short sound byte and it sounded good. I thrive on music, pretty much any type of music, except rap because I'm a Baby Boomer. So, we ended up sitting upper deck and way to the left of the stage since there were so few tickets left to buy and no two seats were together. When we got to our seats, I was disappointed but didn't make a big deal of it. The audience was mixed in age as well as culture/race, probably more females. Black Kray came on stage and the audience erupted in screams, yells, and whistles. They sing acapella!! The complexity of their music was truly amazing. Every song was different and better than the last. I was hooked with the first song. During the concert, each one did a solo and talked about themselves, so by the end of the evening, I felt I knew them. It was a great evening!!
